Terms and Conditions
1.3 RETURN CONDITIONS
We are happy to provide returns / exchanges of products purchased through Canterbury Timber and Hardware.
1.3.1 WITH PROOF-OF-PURCHASE
We can provide a refund.
All products must be unused, in original and salable condition.
Purchase receipts and/or invoices must be valid and intact.
Refunds will be processed via the payment method used for your original receipt. If you do not have a receipt, or are unable to produce the card that you paid with, we require proof of identity (eg driver’s licence) to issue a return, which we will record and be used for the purpose of debtor policy. Cheques will be refunded as cash (once bank processing of the cheque has occurred)Note: Original credit card must be present to receive a refund.
1.3.2 NO PROOF-OF-PURCHASE
We will record your proof of identification (eg drivers' licence) when processing returns without proof of purchase.
Without this, we may not be able to accept your return.
We can provide an exchange voucher or an exchange for 'like' goods
All goods for exchange must be unused, in original packaging and in saleable condition
Exchange vouchers are valid from time of issue and are redeemable at any store. These vouchers are not redeemable for cash or Gift Cards.
1.3.3 TRADE RETURNS
If you're an account customer and presenting goods for return or exchange, a copy of the original invoice must be presented in-store along with the goods to arrange an account credit.Commercial quantities are not generally available for change of mind returns or exchanges.
1.3.4 EXCEPTIONS
The safety and wellbeing of customers, visitors, team, and suppliers is our top priority.
To regulate this:
CCTV is used in and around our store. Imaging may be stored, used, and shared for crime prevention and safety purposes.
Vehicles are used and regularly operating.
We reserve the right to inspect all receipts, bags and vehicles on exit.
Smoking, vaping and use of e-cigarettes is not permitted.
1.4 STORE CONDITIONS
